Bio
I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to find solutions to achieve the funding, programs, and strategies they want. I worked for USAID and implementing partners as a senior expert focused on improving peace, democracy, inclusion, safety, and security at the individual, community, and national levels through peacebuilding, conflict resolution, democracy, governance, gender, countering violent extremism (CVE), security sector reform, civil society, and youth. My design thinking and facilitation training serve as the foundation for all of my work. I greatly enjoy designing collaborative approaches to co-designing strategies and programs and have designed and managed successful and easy-to-use approaches for collaboration, learning, and adapting(CLA). I have experience sitting on USAID proposal review committee and managing and writing winning proposals and fundraising initiatives with USAID, the Swiss, Canada, and the World Bank. My program and proposal designs draw from my experience designing and managing successful programs in fragile and unstable environments, including 41 conflict, post-conflict, authoritarian, and democratically transitioning countries. I have experience managing monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) programs and have written guides for USAID on designing indicators and easy-to-implement MEL systems. My experience includes working within and with various local and national-level community and government institutions and finding innovative ways to support local partners. I have designed media, advocacy, and communications campaigns for behavior change and education. I am proficient in French and Spanish-speaking environments.
